Bolderāja New Cemetery in Riga has particular features, such as its ground of shifting dune sand, so creating a grave on an entirely new site has to be approached professionally and with careful thought. The plan must allow for concreting the perimeter, the load of the stone to be set on top of it and the load of the total granite mass of the memorial ensemble, so that the ensemble is long-lasting, durable and of high quality. This grave ensemble was made to an individual order and designed according to the designer's concept of a memorial ensemble in red-brown Swedish granite "AURORA". This granite is very popular for making monuments, but our recommendation is to combine it with black granite and suitable red-brown granite chippings, and to complement the design itself with wrought-metal and bronze elements. A photograph set in glass has been fitted to the monument, and the bench is made of wrought metal and granite. The memorial ensemble was installed at Bolderāja New Cemetery in Riga in August 2022. It is a two-place family grave measuring 2.5m*3.0m, with urn burials, where 3 family members already rest.
