14-day right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the ordered service within 14 days of the day the order was placed (the day the distance contract was concluded). You do not need to give a reason for withdrawal.

How to withdraw from a service

Before the withdrawal period ends, send us a clear statement that you are withdrawing from the contract. You can do this in any of the following ways:

fill in the withdrawal form and send it by e-mail to info@memorialservices.lv or info@soulgarden.lv;
write us an e-mail in your own words, stating your first name, surname, order number and order date.

Using the form is not compulsory. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your statement before the end of the 14th day.

In your statement, please include:

your first name and surname;
the order number and date;
the service ordered;
the grave and cemetery;
an e-mail address or phone number for contact;
your bank account (IBAN), if you would like the refund paid to a different account.

A signature is needed only if you submit the form on paper.

Send the completed withdrawal form to SIA “MEMORIAL SERVICES EU” at the e-mail address given by the company.

If work on the service has already begun

At your express request, we can begin providing the service during the withdrawal period, for example so that the grave is cleaned before a particular date. If you then withdraw from the service before it has been fully performed, you must pay for the part of the service actually provided up to the moment you informed us of your withdrawal. We will refund the remaining amount.

When the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised

The right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised if all of the following conditions are met:

the service has been performed in full;
performance began with your prior express consent;
you acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal once the service had been performed in full.

Refunds

If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments received from you, less the charge for any part of the service already provided. We will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original payment, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

If you have any questions about withdrawal or the quality of the service, write to us at info@memorialservices.lv or info@soulgarden.lv. We will reply within 7 days.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, you can contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (www.ptac.gov.lv).
