Granite memorial ensemble with a portrait, bronze lettering and a symbolic “Tree of Eternity”. Family grave landscaping with an individual design. At Pļavnieki Cemetery we have created a unique memorial ensemble that combines the durability of quality granite, practical grave care and the elegance of decorative wrought-iron elements. The work was made to an individual design project, creating a place of remembrance that is both visually striking and long-lasting. Design idea and symbolism When the head of a family passes away, he leaves behind a family tree – both literally and symbolically. In honour of the departed, a portrait has been engraved on the two-part granite monument, a reminder of a good and honest man who built a strong family and lived his life with dignity.
