Landscaping of a large family burial plot in Baldone Cemetery. In 2022 a full reconstruction was carried out, with a new gravestone made from Latvian fieldstone and borders in Scandinavian BOXUS GREY granite to enclose the perimeter of the plot and form the grave border. A planting bed, also made of decorative Latvian fieldstones, was created in the left-hand corner of the plot. The centre of the family grave composition is taken up by a fieldstone monument. Every fieldstone is unique and unrepeatable, and following the designer's concept it can be incorporated very harmoniously into a grave landscaping design project. The family members buried here so far are engraved on the gravestone, but there is room to engrave at least 5 more. This approach to designing a family grave is very practical: whether urns are interred or a traditional burial takes place, all that is needed is to add a new name and dates to the existing monument.
