Grave renovation
Grave renovation is a comprehensive technical and visual restoration of the grave that helps to repair damage that has built up over time and keep the grave in good order in the long term. During renovation, monuments and grave borders that have tilted are levelled and secured, the surface of the plot is restored or replaced, the plants are put in order and any other necessary restoration work is carried out.

Important
Written permission from the grave keeper
Dismantling and disposing of old grave fittings, installing new fittings and replacing the plot surface all require written permission from the grave keeper. The grave keeper is the person who has signed a grave maintenance agreement with the cemetery concerned. The permission is issued by the manager of that cemetery.
On-site inspection
To assess the technical condition of the grave and its fittings accurately and to prepare a quote for the work, an on-site inspection of the grave by a specialist is usually needed. Photographs do not always allow an objective assessment of, for example, the actual condition of the monument's base, the concrete work or other structures.
Additional work is agreed with you
If the inspection shows that thorough cleaning or other additional work is needed before renovation, we contact the client and agree on the necessary work and its cost before starting.
Quote and 50% deposit
After the grave has been inspected, an individual quote for the work is prepared. Once the quote has been agreed, an advance payment of 50% of the total quote is required before renovation work can begin. The remaining amount is paid once the work has been completed.
Within 30 days
Renovation work is usually carried out within 30 days of receipt of the advance payment. If custom-made or other grave fittings need to be ordered for the work, the completion time may be longer and is agreed with the client.
Inspection – €30 if no work is ordered
If, after the grave has been inspected, the client decides not to go ahead with the renovation work, a fee of €30 is charged for the specialist's visit and the inspection of the grave. If the renovation work is ordered, no separate fee is charged for the inspection.
Photo and video report
Once the work is complete, the client is sent a photo and video report.
