The memorial ensemble was created to a bespoke order by remodelling – reconstructing – an older burial plot, keeping the old monuments and incorporating them into a new grave layout with a modernised design, closed plot slabs and a new central monument.
The central part of the monument carries a high-quality portrait on glass, made in high resolution with UV printing. The parts of the monument bear inscriptions in bronze letters. The closed grave slab has a hand-made engraving. The grave plot is covered with thermally treated granite slabs. The overall grave ensemble includes the old gravestones that historically stood on the grave, as well as a matching grave vase in the same material, while decorative stones in a matching colour have been laid in the grave border, complementing the ensemble in a harmonious, contemporary way.
High-quality Scandinavian materials were used to make the grave fittings – durable grey Kuru Grey granite, black Swedish granite and red-brown “Aurora” granite. Glass and bronze candle holders elegantly complement the memorial ensemble.
